6 months

Both kids decided to skip their afternoon nap so Momma decided it was time to head to the park to take the 6 month pics.  (aka...get out of the house to maintain sanity)

Got some good ones of the girlie...

 She's showing off her teeth...

Then the grass got a little too interesting...

Tried to get a few good ones of the 2 of them...
But most of them ended up looking like this...

Then just to make everything a little more stressful I tried to do a few timer/self-portraits...

I think I filled up my memory card and Dave said he was tired of looking at his kids (thanks to my rapid fire setting), but at least we had something to do for 30 minutes.

Then he got to do a little of this...

Park Harvest

 Had some lunch...

A park full of activities and he wanted to do this...
(He identified all the instruments and was imitating all of them.)

Then he finally wanted to do this with dad...

While we did this...

Then London wanted me to do this with him...

While they did this...
(I bought him the shirt and he reluctantly wore it:))

crawling bound

In honor of the beginning of crawling and the beginning of cold weather I decided the girl needed some leg warmers.  I accidentally sewed them wrong but I kinda like the extra little ruffle.  (She was actually sweating by the end of these pictures because no it is not anywhere near cold enough to be long sleeves.)

having fun at the house

She's starting to sit, with a little bit of bumperage just in case.

Sitting and having his 'tea' while momma cleans.

He likes to play 'marching band'.
She loves her sippy cup, although half the time its a 'chewy' cup.
Red light-green light.       He loves this game!

Made themselves a parking garage.  He sat patiently doing it for over  an hour then wanted to stay up and play when he was all done.

Not just a shirt

Dave used to have an orange shirt... he no longer does.

Cariad got herself a new matching skirt and hairbow...

We have a new fall wreath...
and London and I made a pumpkin.

Uh huh, can't stop.

Bows, bows everywhere!

Hello Fall

So thankful that the highs are now 'just' in the 90's.  Taking advantage of it and hitting up the parks and zoos.  Now I can actually tan, I mean plant the next crop in the garden.

Friday Night Fire

We had our first little family bonfire.  I love making memories and London sure gave  a lot to take with me.  I won't tell you how many marshmallows the boys ate but it sure wasn't any less than 2 and the concept of putting it in the fire first was a concept to long in patience to handle for London. (But the concept of blowing out the imaginary flame from 5 feet away was mastered.)

We got outside to watch the stars from the very first one with a moonless night, GORGEOUS!

Mmmm Food

This girl was a ready for it:)  Freezer is stocked for her so I guess she can have at it now.  She even loves her little sippy cup.  Why do they have to change so fast?!?!

5 months

I love to get the size comparison shot:)

Sometimes the outtake shots just have to be added as well.  She is a mover now and I love watching her figure things out.

Kitchen Day

Getting the baby food stocked up in the freezer.  Squash and peas, check.  Carrots yet to come.  And that half eaten loaf of goodness in the background is Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread.  Mmmm...yep I made that today and yep it is almost half gone...

Cucumbers have been picked, pickles are yet to come.  Anyone know of a good freezer pickle recipe?

Chompers

Yep, she's got 2 of 'em.  Took her about 2 months to get 'em out but now she loves 'em.

Bows, bows, bows...

I have found a new activity to keep my hands busy in the evenings...

And of course I have a willing model:)

I can't stop!  I have 4 more and plenty more ideas.  Craft Blogs, I curse you!
