LIfe Lessons...

I hate having to learn life lessons sometimes.  I wish I could read a book about other people learning them and say "oh man, that's too bad".  I feel like I had to learn a few these last few weeks and I really wish I could have hit the redo button so many times but God has been faithful and I am starting to learn the lessons I think he wants my to learn.

Here's a few of my lessons:

  • always back-up documents and pictures, because macs like to crash and burn
  • yes, your back will go out even when you have no scheduled help around the house
  • "free gifts" are only free if you work the system the right way
  • forgetting to pay speeding tickets means you get to pay the nice solicitor man that comes to the door
  • not paying attention to your purchases means a complete change of plans in crafting

Dear Lord,

I love hearing him pray and all the things he tells us to pray for.  He has his list of people he prays for then last night he wanted us to pray for the lights.  I'll take it:)

Bye Bye Baby Weight....

Yep its that time to get working.  Even my doctor told me that my butt muscles are too weak.  Darn you pregnancy! (But thank you for my wonderful baby.)

London could use a little work on his core strength too:)
His sit-ups are actually side-ups and are really funny to watch.

Movie Night

There was a special on TV tonight (I now know all of the MickeyMouse Clubhouse songs) so we let London stay up and watch it.  A bed was set up on the floor and popcorn was popped (at London's request).
He was giddy with excitement.  (Cariad played with Mommy, I am weird about TV till they reach a certain age)

I love making these kinds of memories:)

Side note:  He kept his underwear dry all day!  Yay!

Tour Ready

I decided it was time he had a microphone stand to be added to musical items, so we snuck into Daddy's music room and borrowed one.  He did not want to go down for his nap after this, he was in heaven!!!  I had to sit on the couch and listen to his performance.  You can't see it in the picture but his guitar is plugged into an amp which he set up himself.  I love how kids get interested in what their parents do.  Its even a bigger heart melter to hear him pray before he plays guitar.

Dedication

Our little girl was dedicated at church a few Sundays ago.  What a blessing it is to be able to raise her in the knowledge and truth of the Lord.  She has so many believers around her who want to love on her and share with her the same worldview with her that we have.

(London was also giddy with excitement that he was able to be on stage with his Daddy.)

Amateur Photographer

London loves the camera and these are his latests pictures.  I'm thinking I need to get out an old one for him, he doesn't really need a $200 toy .
