Potty Training

We're getting there, but he sure enjoys the trying.

Minty Fresh

Walked into London's room for about the 20th time to tell him to stay in bed and I smelled a minty freshness.   This was the culprit....

(This was in the hallway, in my purse.  No he is not supposed to get out of bed, and no he is not allowed to chew gum.)

country girl

Sometimes I like to pretend that I live in the country and live off the land, so on those days that I'm playing pretend we take a walk outside of our neighborhood and go among the crops (no trespassing was involved don't worry).  This is our view.

And for all you non-Arizonans, there is a ski slope at the top of those mountains, believe it or not.

Bedtime

We got a new bed, errm, I mean toy chest for London.  (It still needs a little bit of work)

Bedtime songs in our house.

My favorite thing, by far, of the night is going in to the kids and seeing what kinds of predicaments they get themselves into.  (The shoes were across the room and no he is not supposed to get out of bed.)

One of the few rainy days we had this summer. We do have a patio but the storm blew right past it. 

London calls these  his "O-toast". 

He hates loud noises, he runs and covers his ears whenever they go on.  This was him trying to conquer his fears.  He made me go and sit on the couch while he pretended to put it on. (Don't worry, they weren't plugged in)

I got him a safe-cut knife and he is in heaven.  He wants to cook with me at every meal now.  

I love watching him get creative and learn new things:)

Growing so fast...

The little one is 3 months old. I love to get her giggling and laughing. I'm not so good at picking just one picture so thank goodness for collages.

Cucumbers and more cucumbers

The cukes went a little crazy in the garden this year. Mine were bitter last year and I was too chicken to try them this year so I just went ahead and pickled them all. Yep still have more and they're still growing.

Thank goodness the zucchini have stopped growing. My limit for fritters and zucchini bread was being reached and I don't think my bible study appreciated the zucchini brownies I made them endure.

Cleaning Day

Gramma was coming over so it was time to clean the house (that hadn't happened in a few weeks...) and London got into the groove with me.

First he cleaned the toilet...

Then it was time for the sink....

May as well just clean everything while we were at it.

London loves the camera. He brings it to us and says "cheese" anytime he sees it. Although he now loves to take pictures too so his face looking like this:

Very quickly becomes this desperately plea to have the camera.
